Experience that equals results not just promises.

Joann Waski

I am Joann Waski, a lifelong resident of Riverhead and owner of a family business established for 40 years in the town of Riverhead. I am running for Town Council because I am committed to protecting our land, our way of life, and our community.

I am opposed to the proposed jet port at Grumman and the 40 million dollar giveaway that would come with it. I believe that this project would be a disaster for our community, and I will fight to stop it.

I am also committed to protecting our farmland and woodlands. These are essential parts of our community’s heritage, and we need to do everything we can to preserve them. I will work to support our farmers and to promote sustainable agriculture.

I am listening to the concerns of the people of Riverhead. I hear your concerns about traffic, overcrowded schools, and lack of code enforcement. I will work to address these issues and to make Riverhead a better place to live, work, and raise a family.

Here is what I will do as a Town Council member:

Listen to you with respect and an open mind
Be approachable, honest, and earn your trust
Advocate for your children and your senior family members
Never forget that I was elected by you
I am asking for your vote on Election Day. Together, we can make Riverhead a better place for everyone.
